Logistics and FORMS (you will need to bring completed forms with you)
Beaumont Scout Reservation
Overview: Beaumont Scout Reservation is big. It is loosely separated into: Camp Gray (we won't use), Camp McIntosh (where our lodge/campsite is), the Augustus Training Center (where the food hall is), and Camp Broadbent (where most of the activities are). I've included a marked up map as an attachment.
For those arriving Saturday and not camping, you can come to the campsite and park in the designated area or you can park over by the Dining Hall, which is more central to the activities.
If you arrive at 10:30am or later on Saturday, there is a good chance most folks are on their way or at the activities. I recommend parking near the Dining Hall and walking from there. There is no set schedule, so you are free to go as you please or reach out to your Den Leader or me to meet up with others.
Important:
- For EACH ATTENDEE (adult and child), you must: print, fill out, and bring the Health form located at: https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore/HealthSafety/pdf/680-001_AB.pdf
- Have this form in the front seat of your car. You will need them at the check-in/checkpoint.
- Once you arrive at camp, please hold on to your AB Med forms and keep in an accessible place.
Check-in Times: Friday 6PM-9PM; Saturday 7:30AM-9AM. See below if you arrive outside those times.
Check-in Procedure: There will be a checkpoint along the main road (near the barn between Camp Gray and Camp McIntosh) where you will check-in and present your health forms. Provided you have your health/activity forms, they should be able to resolve any issues on the spot - if not, give me a call at 216-551-6620. If you arrive outside the times listed above: drop off any equipment at our lodge, park your car, and turn-in your health form to the folder in our Lodge.
Our location: We will be staying in/around Lodge No. 2. For those staying the night(s), you can drive up to unload your gear. Once unloaded, please move your vehicle to the parking lot shown on the map (attached).
